On Transparency
I know I should be blogging about Recurse as I develop it, but for some reason every time I think about talking about it I resist.
That little voice in the back of my mind says “it needs one more feature before people will care.” Anyway, I’ve put up a ‘coming soon’ page of sorts at RecurseApp.com. If you’re interested, please ask any questions you have. I really just want to talk about the app, what it does, and what plans I have for it as a means to get designers excited for it :)
Design work on Recurse
Recurse is coming along. I’ve written most of the code and have most of the functionality there but the design has been lacking for some time. So I’m taking a few days to really get the application to a place I’m happy with before finishing it up. I’m super excited to get a beta out (something that’s not going to completely fall apart on you). Right now you can access an alpha of sorts on folindux.com.
Panic Blog
Many of you probably follow this already, but right now I’d say Panic’s blog is certainly one of the best looking [software company] blogs on the internet.
I’ve been waiting to post anything about this because I wasn’t sure as to the longevity of the situation. But I’m happy to say I’ve been working for Made by Rocket for the last 2 months and look forward to working with them in the future.
It’s been really awesome working with some local web-app and mac-app guys, especially since I’d taken note of their work before they contacted me about a job.
