My new favorite space-sci-fi-thriller (right after Solaris). Sam Rockwell is so good in this and should get a Academy Award nomination (seriously, what did Heath Ledger do to win in the end?). And I really like this movie poster, too.

I just threw together this background, you can download it here.

Nothing special, just a blur to mask the pixelation of making the background so large. I kinda like it this way though, it makes it less distracting.

Tron just finished downloading. What a beautifully designed film.

    Delorean porn.

Just in time for my trip! We’ll be able to watch one movie a night for 3 days! So excited!

    Stranger Than Fiction opening sequence.

If you haven’t seen this you’re missing out on something great. You don’t even have to watch the movie (even though I hiiiighly recommend it) - just watch the opening sequence! Wait until he starts ting his tie, that’s my favorite part.

This is one of Will Ferrell’s best works in my opinion. Dustin Hoffman’s too, but not better than the more memorable ones like Rainmain, etc.

Just got back from Disney’s Up.

First things first, I’ll just say this: it was missing the magic that Pixar manages to pull off so incredibly well.

How it it lacking this? Well, it wasn’t lacking in comedy, I laughed a ton. There were many of those ever so catch-me-off-guard jokes where someone runs into something or sneezes and topples over.

I think the movie was just too sad, I mean really, I wanted to cry after the opening scene alone. I won’t go into detail as not to spoil the movie for anyone.

All in all, great movie, but I think Disney is overcompensating for not being Pixar.

The intro to Quantum of Solace is my favorite part of the entire movie.
